The Genesis of Our Ministry
How it all began in Kasonga
The Beginning
Upper Glorious Room Prayer Center Church was established in Kasonga, Block 30 Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, Kyangwali Sub-County, Buhaguzi County, Kikuube District, Uganda. On this same day, construction of the first church building began under the leadership of Bishop Christophe Nkurunziza.
Rapid Growth
The Kasonga church experienced exponential growth, with membership increasing from 110 in 2019 to 590 to date. This rapid growth necessitated the establishment of additional churches in different districts, eventually leading to the current network of 8 branches.
Expansion to Kyarushesha
This Branch started in 2023 after a gospel sprayed to individuals in that area and convinced by the Holy spirit they decided to move with divine light. Church members are trying to build parmanent church with their small contribution for them to have a safe space for worship their God since the temporary church is old whereby the roof was disrupted by the wind.
Expansion to Mukunyu, Bukinda and Mombasa
All the 3 branches Mukunyu, Bukinda and Mombasa started on various dates of the year 2023 and this was influenced by a number of people that heard, understiood and moved by our Mission hence opening up branches of the church in the various places due to the distances that would be hard to be covered that is to say from Mukunyu, Bukinda and Mombasa to the headquarter church Kasonga
Expansion to Hoima
On September 1, 2023, a branch was opened in Lusaka Upper, Hoima Town. This expansion came after individuals from Hoima heard the gospel through our concerts, crusades, conferences, and evangelization activities. They requested a branch in their area due to the long distance from Hoima to Kyangwali.
Expansion to Gomba District
In Gomba District, massive expansion of the church through 3 operating branches has been significantly addressed and this has been achieved through having temporary buildings unto the plots that have been registered under the church assets and these church can be allocated in Kigumba, Kajanjuba and Kyitwe
Reinnovating The Main Branch
Plans of rebuilding the Kasonga Main Branch are being projected upon due to the fact that the main branch is small in the capacity sitter and this has made some christians have their fellowship from outside and this has made them suffer harsh weather conditions like rainfall and sunshine.

Our mission is to obey the Great Commission of Jesus Christ by going into all nations to make disciples through evangelism, baptism, and teaching. We are committed to spreading the gospel, nurturing believers in faith and obedience, and building a church that reflects God's love and truth in every community.

Our vision is to be a church that seeks God and His righteousness above all else. We aim to establish regional headquarters in Hoima with standard facilities including a Bible school, conference hall, guest rooms, and offices. We envision model schools offering quality education, self-reliant church members through skills training, and transformed communities living in God's peace and provision.
